About Karla
I have been involved in real estate for over 25 years and working as a realtor since 2009. Before receiving my license, I worked alongside a builder, who built residential homes in the Columbia and surrounding areas. I worked very closely with the home buyers, their realtor and my realtor. I learned a lot about the real estate market. I also learned a lot about what I, as a client would want in a Realtor. It has been my experience that my client’s primary need from their Realtor is professional advice and exceptional customer service. I also believe communication is extremely important. The current state of our market requires constant attention in the buying and selling process to ensure maximum value is obtained for clients. Buyer’s and Sellers’s selection of which Realtor to use will have a significant impact on their buying and selling experience. My yearly sales volume has grown since my entrance into the business in 2009. In 2010, I earned the “Rookie of the Year” award for my region (which includes Kansas, Illinois and Iowa). In 2011, I earned the Joel Radman Award – an award given for an up and coming realtor with good ethics and professionalism and “outside the box” thinking. Since 2011, I have earned the President’s Club Award every year, the highest award my company offers. When I am not working, I spend time with my family. I have four beautiful children, a daughter in-law and three grandchildren! We are a very active family. We love being outside swimming, biking playing catch or just sitting around a fire!
